With beaming faces and full of energy, 6.731 runners got ready to transform the Coque into a colourful sports ground at this year's Luxembourg Times Business Run. In high spirits, they set off on the 5 km run across the Kirchberg Plateau before celebrating their finish in the Coque. It was more than just a sporting event - it was a celebration of team spirit and enthusiasm for exercise.

The DJ at the start line put the participants and spectators in a celebratory mood. Everyone eagerly awaited the final seconds before the race until the starting signal was given at 7.00 pm. The good mood continued along the route, supported by several mobile music groups that provided additional motivation. The largest teams were already clearly visible in the starting field, with BNP PARIBAS motivating the most with 680 participants. Clearstream/Kneip secured second place with 292 employees, followed by the Arcelormittal team with 161 participants. PwC Luxembourg, APEX Group, Merbag and Schroders Europe also brought more than 100 runners to the starting line.

At the finish line, each finisher received a well-deserved medal and a refreshing, non-alcoholic drink from Diekirch, as well as fruit from Grosbusch.
Anton Wolf, Managing Director of the organising agency n plus sport GmbH, was delighted: ‘We are proud to see so many motivated and happy runners at the finish line. The company run has once again shown that sport not only strengthens your own fitness, but also brings companies and employees together and promotes team spirit.’

The ‘les Gazelles de I'INLL’ team from the Institut national des langues Luxembourg (INLL) secured the winner's trophy in the ‘Fastest 3-person team’ category: Elsa Eiller, Silvia Cano and Sabrina Masciocchi won the women's category in a total time of 1:09:11. The fastest men's team, SauerBeen Asport, crossed the finish line in a total team time of 0:47:39 h. Gil Wicherding, Bob Bertemes and Luc Scheller were delighted with the trophy. Success in the mixed category was celebrated by the team from PwC Luxembourg, whose members Joffrey Perrot-Legros, Yohan Maurin and Emma Waechter ran to victory in 0:53:10.
At the award ceremony of this year's Luxembourg Times Business Run, not only the fastest teams of runners were honoured, but also the fastest teams of craftsmen. First place in the ‘Team Handwierk - Let'z run!’ category went to Nelson Ferraz, Antonio Barros and Natalia Faria from the ‘GIO- GO GO’ team from FELIX GIORGETTI SARL in a time of 01:03:00.

The most creative outfits were also honoured with the ‘Creative Award’. First place went to the CHNP, who travelled the course as ships and sailors. MG-Run impressed with their creativity dressed as the Olympic flame and secured second place, followed by the BNP Paribas team, whose runners took to the starting line as ‘A fond les ballons’. The teams with the most creative team names were: GymTonics, Fat & Nervous and Stra_va bien? At the after-run party, the stage show with DJ D.Cline ensured an exuberant evening atmosphere.

In addition, good deeds were once again done this year by collecting €2 per participant for the official charity partner, the Fondation Cancer. The Chambre des Métiers also rounded up the amount in 2024 with a sum of €1,000. Schroeder's management donated €10,000. The total donations totalling €36,262 were handed over to the Fondation Cancer, official charity partner of the BusinessRun, on the evening of the event.

A big thank you goes to all participants, service providers, helpers, sponsors and partners who made this event possible.
